We once found that the middle of PA strip was easily broken. Like the following photo.

After discussing with our shareholders, we found out that we can solve the problem by adjusting the raw material formulation or the mold design. Finally, we found that changing the mold design is more economical in the long term. So, since then, we have used this type of special design on all molds in our company.

However, in this case, if customer purchases the mold separately from the raw material, the two suppliers are unable to provide correct solutions for customer, because the supplier of mold has no idea about the formula of raw material, and the supplier of raw material has no idea about the structure of mold. Finally, customers may be unable to solve this problem.

If customer purchases raw material, extruder, and molds separately, and unfortunately there are 1-2 mismatched products on their production line, it will cause huge trouble for customer's production of thermal break strips. In the most serious case, customers may abandon the thermal break strip project due to the fail production, which can cause huge financial losses and psychological harm to customers.
