The polyamide strip is a mouldable composite material. Its fibers are oriented in all three dimensions to ensure appropriate strength. What does a thermal break do?

A thermal break is defined as a material with low thermal conductivity placed in an extrusion with the purpose of reducing the flow of thermal energy (heat). The polyamide strip is a material of low thermal conductivity which will minimise the transfer of heat and cold through the window frame, resulting in improved energy efficiency.
