Polyamide Thermal Break Strips for Aluminun Windows

Over the years, polyamide heat-insulation strip has been widely used in glass curtain walls due to its good properties and low cost. Especially Polyamide 66 reinforced by 25% glass fiber thermal break strips, they are inserted into aluminum window, door and facade profile for thermal insulation.

 

The shape I thermal barrier polyamide strip can prevent the window frame from dust and water, has a better mechanical performance, is the first generation and easiest shape of insulating strips.

Advantages

  • The strips have an evenly GF distribution under professional extrusion technology. The high strength can meet the design needs, and ensure the long-term stability of thermal break aluminum alloy doors and windows and framed curtain wall.
  • The linear expansion coefficient is close to that of aluminum,which will prevent the doors and windows from deformation or falling apart under the condition of extreme hotness and coldness.
  • When spraying, the temperature is as high as 300 ℃, which fully meets the process operation of first piercing strip and then spraying.
  • Dimensional accuracy can be less than 0.05 mm. The high dimensional accuracy is easy to operate roll extrusion processing.

Application

It is mainly used in insulation broken bridge aluminium products, helping to reduce heat loss or heat gain through the aluminum, and has better performance in terms of power usage.
